With the marketing industry changing so rapidly, it was evident that the decade-old "Develop a Marketing Plan" curriculum that was being taught at the Marketing Manager's Course to future marketing managers was outdated and irrelevant.
After rewriting the Army National Guard's National Marketing Plan earlier that year, I researched the most updated marketing materials, protocols, and policies to develop a new and updated comprehensive and robust marketing plan curriculum.
The new plan is 144 slides mandated to cover 16 hours of instruction. It is currently being taught at the schoolhouse today and is considered the standard for marketing plan development throughout the Army National Guard.
It's been my honor to have served with Charles over the past two years. Charles led our Marketing Branch as the Marketing Director with absolute distinction. He is by-far the most passionate leader I have ever worked with in recruiting and within the ARNG marketing enterprise. I have not met a stronger brand advocate than Charles. He is dedicated to his profession and is consistently looking for opportunities to keep-up with marketing trends and build-up the team around him. I’ve been most impressed with his ability to captivate an audience, motivate the team, and produce real results. I have no doubt Charles will be a valuable leader for whoever is lucky enough to have him.
