As Director of Marketing, I oversaw and provided leadership to the Broadcasting and Production department for the Army National Guard, successfully overseeing a dynamic team responsible for the creation of videography, photography, radio spots, and digital repository support. Our collaborative efforts focused on designing, producing, and deploying compelling and innovative television and radio spots, along with other marketing content. Our goal was to deliver content that not only promoted sales but also provided relevant and timely information to our audience. Through strategic planning and creative execution, our team consistently produced engaging content that maximized the viewer experience. This comprehensive approach contributed to the success of our campaigns, effectively communicating the mission and values of the Army National Guard while showcasing the organization's strengths and capabilities.
Charles and I worked together on the Colorado Army National Guard’s marketing program through the Colorado Broadcasters Association. He immediately grasped the value of the program and the importance of networking within the broadcast community to further develop his recruiting network.
In the time that Charles and I worked together, I appreciated his constant search for ways to become more involved. Charles isn’t the type that waits for opportunity to present itself. He actively seeks it and grabs it when he finds it.

Within a short amount of time, Charles was participating on panels and joining community boards to get the most out of every new relationship he made.

I was not surprised when Charles left for the National Guard Bureau. Early on, I recognized that he had the energy and skill to be at a top-level post where he could help so many in their trek.

Charles is dependable, eager to learn, and never afraid to face a challenge. I truly enjoyed our time working together and know that no matter where he goes, he will not disappoint.
